Term - The period of time for which a policy is issued.
Territorial limits - The geographical limits within which
your policy is valid, usually Great Britain, Northern Ireland, The
Isle Of Man and the Channel Islands, including travel between any
of these.
Third party - This is basic insurance cover and covers your
liability for death or bodily injury to a third party including
other pillion passengers and your liability for damage to third
party property.
Third party, fire and theft - This covers third party risks
as described above plus covers your motorcycle if stolen, subject
policy terms.
Total loss - When the insurance company decides it is uneconomical
to repair your motorbike following an accident, theft , or when
your car is stolen and recovered and either it is impossible to
repair; it isn't safe to repair; it is not economical to repair
your car.
Tracker - A tracker is an electronic device (normally fitted
as an accessory after purchase of the vehicle) which emits a signal
enabling law enforcement agencies to locate the car anywhere in
the UK if it has been stolen.
